IGHSAU posts girls basketball pairings

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union posted first-round pairing for the upcoming girls basketball regionals.

Charles City, in Class 4A-Region 2, will travel to Decorah at 7 p.m. Feb. 17. The winner advances to face Mason City in Mason City, at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in the semifinals.

Nashua-Plainfield, in Class 2A-Region 3, will travel to Denver at 7 p.m., Feb. 13. The winner advances to face Sumner-Fredericksburg in Sumner at 7 p.m. Feb. 16.

North Butler, in Class 2A-Region 2, will host West Fork at 7 p.m. Feb. 13. The winner advances travels to Mason City to face Newman Catholic at 7 p.m. Feb. 16.

Rockford, in Class 1A-Region 2, will host North Iowa  at 7 p.m. Feb. 11. The winner advanced to face the winner of the Bishop Garrigan vs. West Bend-Mallard game in Rockford at 7 p.m. Feb. 16.
