A steady early-morning rain made things difficult during setup at the final Charles City Farmers Market at Central Park on Saturday, but the weather settled down later in the morning.

It was the last chance of the season for residents to buy fresh and local produce and other items — including pumpkins — as it was the final farmers market until next spring. This year, the market ran from May 4 through Oct. 14, on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
