The Little Hands on the Farm Building and interactive displays at the Floyd County Fair were significantly damaged in the 2019 Memorial Day tornado at the fairgrounds.

Little Hands on the Farm was an annual attraction for children to take their parents to learn about agriculture while playing in the building.

The Floyd County Farm Bureau donated $5,000 for the Floyd County Fair to use toward purchasing new interactive exhibits for the new Little Hands on the Farm Building. Plans are to have the new building completed by the fair this coming summer.

The Floyd County Farm Bureau received the funds through the Iowa Farm Bureau Share Grant program.
