Where there’s an Easter Bunny, there’s bound to be eggs somewhere. The trick is finding the hidden treasures.

Spring is definitely in the air and plenty of sunshine is forecast for this Saturday when the Bread of Life Market is scheduled to hold its inaugural Easter egg hunt in Central Park.

Balloons, bubbles and the chance to find more than 2,000 Easter eggs will be some of the fun and excitement that kids can partake in from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in downtown Charles City.

Adults can win prizes along with kids and there will be games for children to play in addition to getting to meet the Easter Bunny.

Bread of Life owner Shelly Tilton said the Easter egg hunt will begin sometime shortly before 11 a.m.

Games will include three-legged races, musical hula hoops and toss games for the younger kids, as well as games for all age brackets. There will be crafts include a coloring station as well as a contest, a bubble station and a balloon artist who will make balloon animals and other shapes.

Temps are forecast to reach 70 degrees Saturday in Charles City with a sunny sky.
