Trevor White medals again for Comet boys golf team

CRESCO — For the fifth time in as many dual or triangular meets, Charles City junior Trevor White recorded a medalist score for the Comet boys golf team.

His latest was a 9-hole score of 38 (2 over par) during Monday’s Northeast Iowa Conference match against Crestwood at Cresco Golf Course. It was the lowest 9-hole score White has recorded this season.

With Jaxon Daniels shooting a 51, and Calvin Hanson and Jaxon Houdek both shooting 52s, the Comets’ combined score of 193 was their lowest 9-hole effort of the season.

But with Cadet sophomore Landen Bergen carding a runner-up 45 followed by sophomore Brett Panos (46), Lawson Erickson (48) and Ashton McConnell (51)and Aaron Randak, Crestwood finished 3 strokes ahead (190).
