Charles City Baseball Club work day to help get the Charles City ballfields ready for the upcoming season, working on dugouts, fencing, etc., starting at 8:30 a.m. at Sportsmen’s park, Zoetis Fields and Lions Park Fields; all welcome to help.
Floyd County Museum annual spring rummage sale, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; rummage sale donations will begin being accepted April 2.
FRIDAY, MAY 3
North Iowa Area Community College Commencement, with Health Sciences at 1 p.m., Skilled Trades at 3 p.m. and Arts & Sciences at 5 p.m., all in the NIACC Auditorium on the campus east of Mason City; the ceremonies will also be livestreamed on the college YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/myniacc.
