Letter to the Editor: Thanks to Red Kettle supporters, businesses

On behalf of our board we would like to thank all of you that contributed and volunteered to the 2017 Red Kettle.

This year our dedicated bell ringers collected $21.656/48. Ninety percent of this amount will go a long way to help Floyd County with our needy and special projects.

We want to thank all the businesses that allowed us to utilize their stores for the Red Kettle locations.

Thank you again for your support, generosity and volunteering. This has been another successful year.
