Drivers make sudden impacts at demo derby

Despite sustaining considerable damage, Nehls was able to remain in the event almost to its conclusion as he eventually finished third. Other money placers in the Stock class included Frank Knecht of Tripoli (1st), Dustan Knecht (2nd) and Madi Pellymonter of Charles City (4th). Money placers in the Truck class included Rochester, Minn. brothers Tony and Tyler Carlson, who finished first and second, respectively; Dustan Knecht (3rd) and Andrew Eischeny of Taopi, Minn. (4th). Four the fourth-straight year at the Floyd County Fair, Chase Longfore of Blue Earth, Minn. won the Pro feature. Other money placers included Josh Chatfield of Stacyville (2nd), Tom Newton of Little Cedar (3rd), Steve Anhorn of Osage (4th) and Nate Knecht of Charles City (5th).
