WALKABOUT WEDNESDAY:

Walking/running group Walkabout Wednesday will meet Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. for a 3 mile route, starting at the northwest corner of Lincoln School. All abilities are welcome, and no one is left behind. Walkabout Wednesdays is a free community group looking to promote wellness.

HOLIDAY LIGHTED PARADE:

Community Revitalization in Charles City is set to light up the night on Dec. 4 during the annual Holiday Lighted Parade downtown at 6 p.m.

“North Pole Dreams” is the theme for this year’s parade.Parade line-up will be at 5:30 p.m. on Blunt Street, near TLC: The Learning Center.
