SNOWMOBILE TRAILS CLOSED: Local snowmobile trails are closed Dec. 5-20 during shotgun deer hunting season, the Floyd County Groomers Association announced. The organization asks that drivers respect the closure, or trails may be closed permanently.

Walkabout today : Community walking/ running group Walkabout Wednesday will meet at 6:30 p.m. today for a 3 mile route, starting at the northwest corner of Lincoln School. All abilities are welcome, and no one is left behind. Walkabout Wednesdays is a free group looking to promote wellness and community building.
