Businesses to sell cars north of CC

Two businesses plan to sell cars north of Charles City along the Avenue of the Saints.

The Floyd County Board of Adjustment last week approved a conditional use permit sought by Jared Lewis who plans to establish a used car dealership at 2541 155th St.

The board will hold a public hearing at 9 a.m., Dec 8, on a request by Corey Kuhlemeier to rezone 3.22 acres near Rudd from agriculture to Industry-1. He intends to establish a business that sells cars, travel trailers, ATVs and snowmobiles and also services the vehicles.

The hearing will be in the Planning & Zoning Department on the first floor of the Floyd County Courthouse. You may file written or oral objection or support of the rezoning.
