Menno M. Zimmerman

Menno M. Zimmerman, 66, of Orchard, passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services for Menno Zimmerman will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at the Cedar Valley Mennonite Church at 320th St in Orchard. Burial will occur in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Menno Zimmerman home, 1060 Underwood Avenue, Orchard, Iowa, 50460, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020. Please omit flowers.

Menno Martin Zimmerman, the son of Ezra S. and Maria K. (Martin) Zimmerman was born June 7, 1953 in Earl Township, Pennsylvania.

Menno is survived by his wife, Alta Z. Zimmerman; son, Elvin (Ester Mae) Zimmerman of Orchard; daughters, Lois (Leonard) Martin of Versailles, Missouri and Erla (Nevin) Martin of Versailles, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; brothers, David (Edna) Zimmerman, Esra (Lydia Ann) Zimmerman, Amos (Esther) Zimmerman, and Ervin (Ella Mae) Zimmerman; sisters, Anna (Eli) Shirk, Lydia (Phares) Burkholder, Mary Hoover, Ella (Amos) Leid, Lavina (John) Brubaker, and Edna (Reuben) Nolt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jane Zimmerman; brother, Paul Zimmerman; brother-in-law, Allen Hoover; sister, Lena Brubaker; and sister-in-law, Lena Zimmerman.
