Comet boys win HD Bulldog Golf Invitational
For the third time in the last four Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldog Golf Invitationals played — there was no tournament in 2020 — Charles City emerged as the champions. The latest Comet squad to win were, top photo from left, Trevor White, Carson Gallup, Hunter Sullivan, Nicholas Prior, Hanson and Jaxon Houdek.
For the second year in a row, White was the tournament’s medalist, this time with an 18-hole score of 79. Gallup was runner-up (83) with Houdek (90) and Sullivan (98) rounding out the meet-winning team scoring (350).
