Barby Jean (Ebel) Rockwell

Barby Jean (Ebel) Rockwell 69 of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Friday, June 15, 2022 at her residence.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Mrs. (Ebel) Rockwell was born May 11, 1953 in Sioux City, IA. The daughter of Gerry Ebel and Bertha (Vershoor) Ebel, she married John Rockwell on May 27, 1987 in Sioux City. They had no children but many nieces and nephews. Barby worked at IBP in Dakota City, NE, and Amarillo, Texas, for many years.

Barby and her mother Bert were very close as well as her niece Jennifer Solomon and Jen’s son Chandler Pithan were almost inseparable. Her smile will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gerry Ebel and sister Susan (Ebel) Johnson.
