SENIOR CENTER: 12 musicians perform at Music Jam

To the Press

On Oct 27 at the Music Jam in the Charles City Senior Center, 50 guests and 12 musicians attended.

Devon Lynch, Dean Lynch, Dan Hubert, Marvin Folkerts, Jack Tynan, Mike McDaniel, Mary Overlien, John Neuzil, Dick Knight, Dale Schultz, Annette Tupy and Bill sang.

Dean Lynch sang “Wouldn’t Change You If I Could.”

Hubert sang “Walking the Floor Over You.”

Folkerts sang “Melt you Cold Cold Heart.”

Tynan sang “Devil and Angel.

McDaniel sang “If I ever need a Lady.”

Overlien sang “I’ll Fly Away.”

Neuzil sang “King of the Road.”

Knight sang “Singing the Blues.”

Schultz sang “I’m a Fool to Care.”

Tupy sang “Honey Comb.”

And Bill sang “Wings of a Dove.”

They all sang “Happy Birthday” to Dixie, Karen and Pauline. At the end, everyone sang the closing with the national anthem.

In November there will be just one Jam. The next few Jams will be Thursday, Nov. 10, and Thursday, Dec. 8.

There is very good entertainment at Jam sessions. Everyone is welcome. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the session starts at 6:30 at the Senior Center at 900 Hulin St.
