‘No More School’

A little rain couldn’t wash away the smiles Wednesday as students at Lincoln Elementary and throughout the Charles City School District bolted out of their school buildings and boarded the buses on the last day of classes for the students. As the 2021-22 school year came to an end, chants of “no more school” could be heard and there was laughter and even a few tears as students said goodbye to their teachers and shared summer plans with each other.
