Bonita Eberly Martin

Bonita Eberly Martin, 7, of rural Riceville passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at the South Osage Church.  Burial will follow at Meadow Run Cemetery in Elma.

Visitation for Bonita will be held from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at the Mennonite Community Center in New Haven. Please omit flowers.

Bonita Eberly Martin, the daughter of Mervin and Alma (Eberly) Martin, was born at home, Sept. 25, 2013. She was in first grade at Riceville Elementary School. She enjoyed music.

Bonita is survived by her parents, Mervin and Alma Martin; six siblings, Eileen (Ivan Ray) Martin of Charles City, Michael (Rose) Martin of Little Cedar, Chester (Amber) Martin of Osage and Russell, Kurtis and Karen Martin all at home; paternal grandparents, Noah (Minerva) Martin of New Holland, PA; a nephew, Kedrick Martin; two nieces, Jemma and Karalie Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ivan and Miriam Eberly; brother, Calvin Martin; and sister, Carolyn Martin.
